While we are known for our full-range HiFi speakers, our roots run deep in the automotive audio industry, dating back to the 1990s. Car audio has always been our foundational expertise.
We realized that for many, the car is a primary venue for music enjoyment, yet high-quality audio in vehicles remains a challenge. We asked ourselves: Why not offer a high-quality full range driver specifically dedicated to cars? Our goal was to allow users to achieve the same effortless performance in their vehicles that they enjoy with their home HiFi systems.
In 2025, we studied among our fan group and gifted some vintage stocks of high-quality car speakers. Analyzing extensive user feedback, we engineered this new full-range unit FV651 with specific practical features designed for the modern driver.
- Dynamic Performance: We utilize a metal cone and suspension system ideal for punchy bass and fast-paced music. Recognizing that driving often calls for energetic tracks rather than light music, this driver is built for impact.
- Bass-Focused Tuning: The frequency balance is tuned to more prioritize bass response. While the 6.5″ unit rolls off at 15kHz, it boasts a resonance frequency (Fs) of 55Hz, delivering nearly the low-end performance you would expect from a dedicated woofer.
- System Compatibility: Unlike our high-sensitivity HiFi units, the sensitivity here is optimized to 89 dB. This ensures safe pairing with most standard car stereos, preventing distortion or damage.
- Signature Sound: The overall tuning mirrors our signature “Lii Song” full-range style. If you love the sound of our home speakers, you will feel right at home with these.
- Easy Upgrade: Designed as a drop-in replacement for most car doors (6.5″ position), this unit is compatible with most head units built after 2016, making it simple to upgrade your car’s audio performance instantly.
