The Ting-1 is our first super tweeter that we are proud to offer for pairing with our full-range speakers. It provides a significant enhancement in imaging, detail, and liveliness that even a non-audiophile can notice instantly. While full-range speakers can reach frequencies between 17kHz and 20kHz, their performance at these high frequencies is constrained by physical limitations. The mass and size of the cone affect high-end resolution because music consists of dynamic, ever-changing multi-frequencies rather than linear and stable ones. Therefore, a super tweeter designed to handle dynamic movements in the high frequency range can make a remarkable difference.

Since the foundation of our brand, we have been dedicated to developing a super tweeter that complements our full-range units. Despite testing nearly a dozen samples, it was challenging to find one that matched the performance of our top full-range speakers. The difficulty lay not in achieving high-frequency response but in finding a super tweeter that could handle micro-movements smoothly, without harshness or graininess. We eventually succeeded in finding the good material when we developed our Platinum series. After additional trials, we realized that no compromises could be made on any component for this product. Ultimately, we achieved a satisfactory result and named it the Ting-1.

The Ting-1 features a diaphragm made from our unique material, driven by a powerful motor system with a large neodymium magnet and a revolutionary structure that ensures an ultra-stable magnetic field and precise control over details. It also harmonizes well with our full-range units and can reproduce lower frequencies than typical super tweeters, allowing seamless integration with the full-range driver without creating a noticeable tonal mismatch. Additionally, it comes with a precisely engineered horn cut from a single piece of metal, ensuring a broad projection radius and effective integration into the sound stage. We also provide a passive high-pass filter with three pre-set modes for pairing with the F, Fast, and Silver series.

The usage is simple: put them on your speakers with Lii Song full range unit, and wire them in parallel with the full range unit (e.g. wire to the full range binding posts while keeping everything else same as before), so they are easy add-on and you can hear the boost right away.
