For years, the classic Fast-6 and Fast-8 drivers have been very popular in the audiophile community, with thousands of pairs sold and loved for their great sound. While past versions only had small updates, new technology has allowed us to make a major upgrade, so we decided to take action.
With a completely redesigned paper cone structure and better materials, the new Pro-Type is a big step forward. From the very first listen, we knew we had made something special. This upgraded model has a much richer and fuller mid-bass, while still keeping all the crisp details. The vocal performance is remarkably outstanding. Even though the old version was already great in this area, the new model still takes a huge step forward, making you feel like the singer is right in front of you. We are proud to say that this is the best version of the Fast-6/Fast-8 drivers we have ever made.
The upgrade is on paper cone materials and structure, so basically this has similar parameters as classic model and can be drop-in upgrade for the latter. This is a live example that you can take reference on parameters but they are not the key to judge how a driver sounds.
For encouraging all crab-eaters especially previous owners of Fast-6 to try the upgrade, we will enable pre-order promotion of this model till new batch ready within 2-3 weeks.
